Barbara Fava is a Managing Director in PFM's Asset Mangement Group. She joined PFM in 1989.

Ms. Fava specializes in fixed income portfolio management, cash management, and arbitrage rebate compliance services. She has over twenty years of experience as a public sector investment manager and has consulted on engagements in twenty-six states. Prior to joining PFM, she served as Deputy Treasury of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where she was responsible for managing the State's $6 billion short-term investment portfolio.

Ms. Fava has a Masters in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Economics and Finance from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
